A multiplayer-friendly edit of Realistic Mechanical Systems featuring a rechargeable Portable Battery Pack designed for Farming Simulator 25.

This JD Edit adds a more realistic battery jump-start system for vehicles while keeping it simple and server friendly.

Portable Battery Pack Features

• Portable hand-held battery jump pack
• Purchase price: $750
• Starts with 100% charge
• Uses 25% charge per successful jump
• Provides up to 4 jump-starts per full charge
• Vehicle battery is restored to approximately 65%
• Will not waste charge on a vehicle that already has enough battery
• Cannot jump-start a vehicle when the pack has less than 25% charge
• Cannot jump a vehicle that is already running

Recharge System

The Portable Battery Pack can be recharged at a vehicle workshop.

• Recharge cost: $25
• Recharge time: 30 seconds
• Workshop range: approximately 12 meters
• Returns the battery pack to 100% charge
• Recharge cost is taken from your farm's money
• Charging is cancelled if you move too far away from the workshop
• The current battery percentage is displayed while using the pack

Multiplayer & Dedicated Server Support

This version was designed with multiplayer servers in mind.

Battery pack actions are handled and validated by the server, including:

• Jump-starting vehicles
• Battery pack charge usage
• Recharge payments
• Recharge status
• Player ownership/interaction checks
• Multiplayer synchronization

Battery pack charge is also saved with the savegame, so its remaining charge stays consistent after a server restart.

Example Charge Levels

100% → 75% → 50% → 25% → 0%

Once the pack reaches 0%, recharge it at a workshop before using it again.

Installation

1. Download the ZIP file.
2. Do not unzip it.
3. Place it inside your Farming Simulator 25 mods folder.
4. Enable the mod when starting or loading your savegame.
5. Dedicated servers must have the same mod installed and activated.
